Electronics ⏐ Vibraphone ⏐ Percussion
Welcome
Composing
Over the past couple of years, I have become increasingly interested in composing music that creates the illusion of metric modulation, aiming to disorient or shift the listener’s sense of the beat. For commissions, I write for all instruments, with a strong preference for chamber, solo, and small ensembles. For all your commission needs and questions, contact me with your inquiries.
Performing
As a performer, I specialize in solo electronics with vibraphone/percussion, as well as chamber groups and jazz combos. For all your gigging needs, contact me with your inquiries.
About Me
I am a composer and percussionist based in North Carolina. I’m always trying push the boundaries of what I can accomplish with live performers and electronic music. I’m currently serving as adjunct professor at UNC Greensboro for the Popular Music & Technology program. My most recent works can be seen as a step toward further developing my integration of electronics with acoustic instruments—aiming to create an environment that blurs the line between comfort and uncertainty for both performers and listeners.
